- Clean Yo Plate (CYP) was started by Ben Osher as an outlet for his interest in all things culinary. Influenced by the passionate cooking of his mother, Ben’s culinary curiosity developed as a young lad. CYP reflects Ben’s brief professional history in the restaurant biz with various stints as a line cook, salad boy, pizza dude, fry boy, prep bitch, and dishwasher at restaurants and catering establishments in New York, Los Angeles, and Pittsburgh for a combined 3-4 years. Focusing primarily on home cooking, with a rare private catering gig here and there, he cooks a wide gamut of fare from simple quick breakfasts to quasi-haute feasts. Inspired by the juxtaposition of sweet and spicy, Ben spends countless hours in the kitchen toiling with different ingredients and methods in the constant pursuit of FLAVOR and BEAUTY.
